THE TIME IS NOW - The Citizens of NH should NOT be deprived of their Right to VOTE! Our cherished right to vote should NOT depend upon what issue is under consideration. Democracy does not need to take a back seat to political correctness. YOUR opinion on the meaning of 'marriage' matters. YOUR voice deserves to be heard! In June of 2009 the NH Legislature and Governor redefined the word 'marriage' in our State's marriage laws to include homosexual relationships. As of Jan. 1, 2010 homosexual marriages are legal in our State (for now). There is legislation in process, CACR 28, that proposes to amend the NH Constitution so the State can return to the policy of only recognizing the union of one man and one woman as 'marriage'. There is no question that this is the policy the overwhelming majority of Americans want for their society. On Nov. 2, 2010, every citizen should have the right to vote on this amendment to restore marriage. Ironically, the very people we've elected to represent us, are the obstacle that stands in the way. Do YOU consent to the new law redefining 'marriage' to include homosexuals? Did You Vote for a Legislator who won't let you vote on the definition of marriage? Go online to letnhvote.com and see the voting records of your Legislators -- see the ways you can get involved and help persuade these legislators to 'let you vote'!. Support Democracy ... Let New Hampshire Vote!
